1. First and foremost, our installers will treat your property with the greatest care and respect.
2. Our installers will arrive at your home at the time agreed upon.
3. The first stage is referred to as the "demolition". This means that the installer will carefully disassemble your kitchen. The doors and drawer fronts will be removed, the trim removed, etc.
Then surface preparation will begin. It will depend on the condition of
your cabinets as to how long this will take. The dust created during
this process will be minimal and cleaned up immediately. The purpose is
not to remove all the existing finish, but to smooth and clean the
surface for lamination of veneer. This stage will consume most of the
first day on the job.
4. If there are any alterations or additions to be
made to your cabinets, it will probably happen at this point depending
on what exactly is to be done. Now the real professionalism of our
installers will start shining through: the installation of the veneers!
As you may notice, this is a long and tedious procedure. Only
experience veneer installers can accomplish this step flawlessly. The
veneering may take several days, depending of course on the size of
your kitchen.
5. The next stage of a typical reface is the installation of the moldings.
6. Now for the fun! This stage is where the doors finally are
installed. This includes hinges and handles. Compared to the prior
steps, this one goes fairly fast. Usually within in few hours. Careful
adjustments and aligning will take place only
after all the doors and drawer fronts are attached.
7. Even though your kitchen was cleaned up at the end of each day, now comes a thorough final cleaning. Your kitchen will be cleaner than the day we started! All trash will be removed from your premises.

AFTER
Each refacing installation may vary, but basically this is what you can expect. The average job takes from 4 to 5 days.
